The owner of the company, Armands Apfelbaums, has been working in the timber trade since 1993. During these years, ACA Timber has expanded into international markets. Currently, ACA Timber is more focused on timber trade and logistics. This means that we are able to provide all stages of the logistics chain – solving problems from forests till producers. We offering suitable solutions for the use of ships, rail and road transport.
We have successfully worked in the markets of the Baltics and other countries. Since the end of the last century, we have been cooperating with customers throughout Europe.
Our team consists of several experienced specialists who fully understand the local situation in the markets, as a result of which we have gained the status of a reliable partner.
ACA Timber was established in 2009 in cooperation with the German company Waldkontor and the Swedish company Virke Impex . All these years, we have maintained our independence from the major players in the market, being able to offer special solutions to our customers.
February 28, 2025, ACA Timber SIA has signed a binding agreement for the purchase of 100% of the shares in the Latvian forestry and logistics company Metsä Forest Latvia SIA from Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative. ACA Timber press release_ENG

ACA Forest
Uzņēmuma darbība sākās 1990.gada 30.novembrī, kad tika nodibināts Latvijas – Somijas kopuzņēmums SIA “SILVA”. No 2001. gada septembra uzņēmums kļuva par Metsäliitto koncerna pārstāvi Latvijā. 2005. gada nogalē Somijas–Latvijas kopuzņēmums SIA “SILVA” nomainīja nosaukumu, kļūstot par SIA “Metsaliitto Latvia”.
Savukārt 2012. gada februārī Metsäliitto koncerns reorganizēja savu identitāti, lai turpinātu darbu kā vienota Metsä Group. Korporatīvās identitātes reorganizācijas rezultātā uzņēmuma nosaukums tika nomainīts uz SIA “Metsa Forest Latvia”.
2025.gada februārī Metsä Group izlēma pārdot SIA “Metsa Forest Latvia” Latvijas uzņēmumam SIA “ACA Timber”. 2025.gada jūnijā uzņēmums tiek nosaukts par SIA “ACA Forest”.

Uzņēmums strādā pie dažāda apjoma projektiem, sniedzot precīzus un kvalitatīvus loģistikas pakalpojumus. Mēs veiksmīgi strādājam Baltijas un citu Eiropas valstu tirgos.
2025. gada 28. februārī, SIA “ACA Timber” parakstījusi saistošu līgumu par 100% Latvijas mežsaimniecības un loģistikas uzņēmuma SIA “Metsä Forest Latvia” daļu iegādi no “Metsä Group” mātesuzņēmuma “Metsäliitto Cooperative”.
